Meeting Schedule for
Fall 2024.

This is version 1.0 of the schedule for the first several weeks of Fall 2024. Things could change depending on how we progress. If we move more slowly or more quickly than I plan, adjustments will be made. There is certainly more than enough material to cover.

EXAM SCHEDULE:

• NO EXAMS ARE GIVEN IN THIS COURSE.

Week of August 26:

• Meeting 1: Introduction to Course and Introduction to Unix, Emacs, and C.
• Meeting 2: Getting started with Emacs and C.

Week of September 2:

• Monday, September 2, 2024: Labor Day, classes do not meet.
• Meeting 3: Programming Basics in C.

Week of September 9:

• Meeting 4: Basic C: Loops and Conditionals.
• Meeting 5: C: Functions, Calling Functions, and Introduction to Arrays.

Week of September 16:

• Meeting 6: Strings and More with Arrays.
• Meeting 7: More work with Unix.
