There will likely be a homework assignment due every time there's a lecture. Sometimes you'll be able to finish it just by playing along during the lecture. Sometimes you'll have to do it outside of class. Regardless, it needs to be completed before the lecture starts (at 9:30am), so unless you're an early riser, you should have your assignments done the night before the due date.
