With the help of my friends, Mark Brown, Andrew Dubious, Bruce White, Bri Woods, Andy Poczobutt (he's Marek's friend from Poland) carrying photo gear I managed another successful photo trip during TAG fall Cave-in. I took over 40 shots of Surprise pit and 20 or so of Never Sink. Here's looking all the way up the 404 foot drop:
Pictures taken with Canon EOS 300D (6 Megapixel Digital Rebel), Canon EF 16mm-35mm USM L lens, 16mm position (26 mm effective because of CMOS imager size makes 1.6 muliplier compared with 35mm film), Tv 1/10 sec, Av 2.8, ISO 100 ASA. Lighting provided by two 2400 WS Speedotron 202VF heads with 16" reflectors, and custom power packs (one broad focus, one narrow).
Picture taken with Canon EOS 300D (6 Megapixel Digital Rebel), Canon EF 16mm-35mm USM L lens, 16mm position, Tv 1/200 sec, Av 4.0, ISO 100 ASA. Additional lighting provided by one 900Ws custom strobe (Speedotron MW24Q tube) with 16" reflector.
