Instructions for Lab 4

• You need to turn in the 14 files you will write, in addition to a script demonstrating that everything compiles and runs. Warning: Claims that buggy code compiles and runs will result in a zero.
• Files to copy:
  • If you have successfully completed Lab 3, all you need to do is copy the file InsVisitor.java to your architecture directory.
• Your job is to write fourteen files (all will go in the architecture directory):
  • Each file will correspond to one instruction of the machine. All the files will be similar to the AddIns.java file that I am supplying. The files must be named consistently with the names used in the InsVisitor class.
  • Read Chapter 5 of the notes in detail.
  • To compile your code, go to directory X and type:

    	X> javac duckMachine\architecture\*.java
            X> javac duckMachine\operatingSystem\*.java
    

  • To test your implementation, go to directory X and type:

    	X> java duckMachine.operatingSystem.TestIns
    

    You should get the following output:

    LOAD 50
    STORE 50
    CLEAR 50
    ADD 50
    INCREMENT 50
    SUBTRACT 50
    DECREMENT 50
