The video recording from today is here. The lecture started with a question that Prabhav logged with me yesterday about alternative calculi (ZH, ZQ, ZW and so on). We then went into some exercises culminating with the very interesting protocol known as C-NOT teleportation. Then the entanglement swapping circuit was presented and compared with quantum teleportation. Then entanglement swapping was elucidated. At this point we have everything we need to create the drafts for the two posters. These would act as deliverables for this week and the next so please wait for me to finish them as well as the tricky circuit (because we have not yet seen anything like that in Qiskit and Python yet, but Burd's book has all the details) that has the quantum gates controlled by classical measurements. We ended with a plea that Lia talk to us about their educational experiment with teenagers in the UK that they have run two years ago (and she agreed). All in all a memorable guest lecture by a brilliant guest speaker! Thank you.
