Course Description
This course covers basic parallel programming for scientific computing. The major
topics are vectorization, shared memory, and distributed memory programming.
In addition it covers the essential tools (OpenMP, MPI coding, using high level
libraries and problem solving environments) and some basic methods for data
decomposition. Analysis ideas and methods are presented and critiqued.
