Syllabus

We are going to cover

The first book, "Concepts of Database Management" will be used mainly in lecture, and will be the source for all exam questions, and homework assignments. The Access 2002 lab manual will be the source for all Practical Exam questions and lab assignments.

Roughly, the material for the midterm is from Chapters 1-4 of the Pratt and Adamski book; the material for the practical exam is from projects 1-6 of the Shelly Cashman book; the project consists of solving the question about Holt Distributors in Appendix A of the Pratt and Adamski book; the material for the final is cumulative, includes Chapters 1-6 and Appendix A in Pratt and Adamski.

Grading

Course grades will be determined as follows:
