Fall Semester 2002

Practical One Makeup 9:30am

Set up an experiment in which you throw two normal unbiased dice.

Answer these questions:

  1. What's the chance of getting a 9 as the sum of the two numbers?

  2. What's the most likely outcome (and what is its probability?)

  3. What's the chance of getting 10 or more as the sum of the two dice?
